What is Surface Pattern Design?

Surface Pattern Design is artwork that’s used to decorate surfaces. Whether that’s a beautiful lampshade, table linen, manchester, clothing - almost anything you can think of! Surface pattern design is all around us, and just about everywhere you look.

Will I receive a physical item?

If you’re licensing a Surface Pattern Design, you will receive a digital file within 24 hours of purchase, and once the signed Designer Agreement has been returned by email. If you’re purchasing a physical item (such as table linen, greeting cards or a fine art print), you will receive a physical item to hold in your hot little hands.

What’s the difference between your Shop and the Pattern Library?

In the Darling Creative Shop, you’ll find beautiful designs on physical items like greeting cards, fine art prints and high quality, Australian-made table linen.
The Darling Creative Pattern Library showcases exclusive and non-exclusive patterns available for licensing to brands and businesses around the world.
