Patterns for the world

At the start of this year, I decided I’d release an email a month (or so…) but then reality set in! I’ve been working away with custom client pieces, creating for the pattern library, and of course my ongoing markets. Hillsdon Kindy had a fabulous vibe last weekend, and I’m always looking forward to the BrisStyle Twilight Markets in King George Square! There’s a ‘make-up’ evening, after the March event was cancelled because of teeming rain - and thank goodness! We’ve got another three Twilight Markets ahead of us this year, and I’ve got some beautiful pieces I’ll have with me.
Just having a think this evening, I realised Darling Creative now has pieces in so many homes all over the world… I’m so proud that my little business has already come such a long way, and that the bright pieces I create bring so much joy and lightness to people’s lives. Already there are artworks and tableware in Dubai, Sweden, London, Brighton, Grafton, Logan, Gold Coast, Bundaberg and Mareeba, and I’m delighted to say I have custom clients who are from Cloncurry, Blackall and Cunnamulla, among others… It’s such a blessing to know how many people appreciate the Darling Creative style, and so lovely for me to know it’s been so widely loved.
The Pattern Library is regularly being updated with new pieces, and I’d encourage you to sign up for access. Within 24 hours of filling out the application form, you’ll have the password, and full (free!) access to the library and its contents. Patterns are available either exclusively or non-exclusively, depending on your needs.
A little fist-pump moment for me this week was hearing from a prospective client in an industry which has long drawn me in, and one that prompted me to get into Surface Pattern Design… to see that come full circle has been so absolutely lovely.
Until next time….Px
